Our farm team
Together we are strong!

Melanie Engel
A profession comes from a calling. Growing up on the Ingenhof farm among ponies, pigs, and strawberries, I never wanted to live or work anywhere else. And my greatest wish was that my children could grow up as free and wild on this farm as I did back then. After receiving my degree in agricultural engineering, I took over the business from my parents on July 1, 2011. Since then, I've enjoyed developing the farm further and bringing the many ideas to life. What a wonderful and challenging life's work! Producing food is a precious privilege for me.
But what are the greatest ideas without the active support to implement them?! We are very grateful for our hardworking team... see for yourself:

Karsten Wulf
Operations manager and the strong man at my side. He keeps an eye on the big picture on this diverse farm and oversees the outside business. During strawberry season, he markets the strawberries, and as soon as the harvest is complete, he heads to the vineyard and the wine cellar to age the grapes. As a certified construction expert and gifted craftsman, Karsten has managed many large-scale construction projects. With his expertise, we are gradually renovating our buildings and optimizing our energy footprint.

Melanie & Karsten with Jonna, Jorge and Jesse
Our wonderful children are already in the starting blocks. So please don't be surprised if you're offered stones for sale by three 3-cheese-highs at the farm gate ;-)
For them, our farm is simply a big adventure playground and pure freedom.

Renate & Wolfgang Engel
Even after retiring from active business responsibilities, Renate Engel remains a dear advisor to us. She is happy to now have time for her hobbies, gardening, and watercolor painting, and her three grandchildren regularly join her for hot chocolate. Wolfgang Engel, a full-time farmer, enjoys being close to the farm and agricultural matters, and his grandchildren often provide him with active support when he checks on everything... We affectionately call it "peeping around with Grandpa."

Christian Muhl
All I can say is: still waters run deep!
Christian is a man of action, not of superfluous words. His responsibility lies in the care and nurturing of our strawberries. And what can we say? Everything is growing and thriving, and Christian takes his task very seriously.

Stefanie Sandersen
Our office powerhouse. She keeps an eye on the little things, both big and small, that need to be organized. Her main task is scheduling vineyard tours and events at our Ingenhof. She also infects everyone with her good mood :-) If you are planning an event or would like to book a vineyard or farm tour, please contact Stefanie Sandersen.

Marion Poss
Our housekeeping pearl :-) She has been whirling around our yard and through the holiday apartments like a busy bee for many years, preparing the most beautiful holiday home for you!

Olaf Schröder
is the good soul of our Ingenhof and lovingly cares for all our many animals. As an experienced craftsman, he bravely accepts every list of ideas from the boss, and after just a few days, you can admire the small and large improvements to the field café and the farm. Maintaining the farm grounds is also one of his responsibilities. The lawnmower is his trademark.

Mechthild Hake
As a housekeeper and cook, she is a vital pillar on our farm and our whirlwind in the field café. Always cheerful and true to the motto "If it can't be done, it won't be done, Ms. Engel!" she infects everyone with her optimism. She is responsible for these incredibly delicious cakes and tarts! Her motto: No cake is not a solution either!

Roswitha Rohde
She loves strawberries, horses, and variety! When she's not in the café, she sells our fresh strawberries. But our Rossi loves where happiness can be found: with our ponies! She lovingly cares for our lovely pony troupe and the donkeys Käthe and Alfred, and ensures that children have fun on pony rides.

Jennifer Klemt-Benz
Accuracy and meticulousness are her middle names. Our financial accountant has our bookkeeping firmly under control, and we are very grateful that she collects every single receipt from us, no matter how small.

Anja Meyer
Our payroll clerk not only handles all the issues related to our hard-working employees. As soon as her time allows, she takes on anything that's too much for others. A great asset in busy times!

Dana Lass
Having grown up in the restaurant industry, this hospitality gene has shaped her life. New to our team, she enjoys the diversity on our farm. As a contact person for our holiday guests, a support worker in the field café, and a lover of order and structure in the office, she is deployed almost everywhere on our farm.
